Today is July 14, 2021.
The first (and still untitled) page of this blog was published February 10, 2015. Six years ago.
And then, there was no form, just void and silence… until February 2018 when I wrote and finally published a post about people starting new careers after the age of 50.
Then again… Silence.
February 2019 I wrote seven posts, published two, and then again…yep.. Silence.
It’s not that I can’t write. Writing is my first love. I’m always writing something. I recently re-discovered a blogspot blog that I penned with consistency the summer of 2009. I had forgotten about it. There could be more.
It’s not that I don’t have ideas on what to write…I probably have too many.
Don’t give your customer too many choices or they won’t select anything. A business truth. And a personal truth for me.
And then I took a blog challenge (of all things) on content curation, plowed through it, and things finally clicked! (I’ll share that story another time). I’m a person who loves to share good information that I believe would benefit my audience. At the same time, I’m helping spread the word of someone else.
So who am I and what am I doing here?
My friends call me a Renaissance Woman.
I’m a storyteller, photographic artist, filmmaker, creative restoration coach, consummate creative, resource person (and more…lol) There’s a tab labeled My Other Spaces where you can find my other online places.
With this blog my goal is to foster inspiration…motivation…hope…grit. Through the sharing of information, stories, and resources.
I strongly believe that each of us has a God-ordained purpose for being here, and that the discovery and activation of that purpose brings personal satisfaction and fulfillment.
My life’s purpose is to encourage and be a resource provider to others in their journey to and through purpose.
